Welcome to our second CR Meme!

We have amended our original plans so that the CR meme will be posted every 2 months. As new players and characters arrive, they can hash out connections that came before their game play begins, as well as plot out new game play. Specifically, this could also be a good venue to find ship crews that are looking for new crew mates, and for prospective crew mates to find new ship crews.

but OH MY GOD yes I am SO SO SO down for that. Actually, I think they're precisely the same degree of newish - we could have them having gone through a bit of rehab together, if you would be up for that, too! So they could have a friendship based on overcoming being floppy noodle babies and struggling to stagger around in a coordinated fashion at the same time...which can get blown up once they actually start talking about their home lives. HOW DARE YOU HAVE A HISTORY, YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE.

Yesss I would love that! Hawke is ...so used to be 110% competent, so bonding with anyone who was also like, filled with acupuncture needles at the same time is definitely someone he'd get invested in quipping at with a side of 'but actually watching gently to make sure she's settling in okay.'

...HE'S SORRY ABOUT HAVING A HISTORY but then like--as a notable side element he also does have a really close friend actually in game who has a completely different but equally awful relationship to magic, so um. At least he has dealing with that as a precedent? Basically he makes friends like a terrier. So THERE'S THAT, his caring about people is sort of. Unshakable.

And yeah! I expect they'll go through a little bit of turmoil, but most likely Kitty's fondness for Hawke will actually win out over her anti-magic anger and so it'll help her come around to being less ragey. He'll help her grow as a person! Especially since he's such a sweet little terrier.

Ahhhhhhhhh friendship hardened by turmoil is my favorite kind, I'm so excited about this. Her perspective will be good for him too because he's so used to coming from 'fine, but I've never personally eaten anyone,' so yes. Delicious personal growth!!

I'm on semi-hiatus right now but when I get back I'm going to make him a log with various starters for people, so if you want Kitty to be folded in there I would be delighted?
