Welcome to our second CR Meme!

We have amended our original plans so that the CR meme will be posted every 2 months. As new players and characters arrive, they can hash out connections that came before their game play begins, as well as plot out new game play. Specifically, this could also be a good venue to find ship crews that are looking for new crew mates, and for prospective crew mates to find new ship crews.

General Reputation: Gideon is fresh to Zion, so he likely does not have a reputation yet! But spent a couple of years in Antioch. His first few months, he was a hot mess, but after he sorted himself out, he was a much-beloved member of the community and had a small school where he taught reading, writing, and arithmetic.

Looking For: No interest in joining a crew just yet. I'd like Gideon to be able to play at being just a normal man for a while. People to teach, people to meet and schmooze? People he can gently dance around his past with. Bring me all of the slice of life bullshit for the moment, I want to wallow in it.

Notes: Gideon looks/sounds roughly the same as Dorian, if a little worn around the edges and with not as much of the usual mirth all the time.

HAY William is a sex worker who sometimes engages dudes and he actually had occasional encounters w previous-Dorian, though we didn't end up threading. AHEM also I play Horse, who is a military lifer. If you'd like to get hooked in to that, I'd love to do so through her. She isn't currently assigned to a crew herself, but she's very invested in the Grid, so she'd happily sell him the lifestyle in her own way. Which will probably just involve a lot of weird pranks and loud comments and alcohol and a pretty red flower being slotted into his headjack.

Horse I think would be rad to meet in a little bit when he decides to start getting involved again, if he does? I'm uncertain how long it'll take him to get to it. But yes, for sure.

not to saddle you with cr of dorians gone by, by benji registered dorian as a nice sort of person who was nice to her as well as hilarious. gideon and she move in similar spheres, so perhaps yet another case of mistaken identity and see how that goes?

alternatively, she could sort of know he's not actually the dorian she knew and approach more clean slate-ish, that is equally feasible! but i am def here for some slice of life bullshit.

having had previous cr works for me if you'd rather that. Gideon could use a tattoo or two, tbh, as well. He was also friends with a trans woman back in his Matrix, so he'd be super chill with Benji in case that was a concern!

depends on the setting -- in the dock crew type environment, she is more androgynous (but some people know better) out of an effort to not stand out, but she presents feminine in civilian circles. i have left it so if people would rather skip the ambiguity, that works!

(also i may toss up a general sort of cr-get log post or a network thing later on in the week, as fyi)

Raises hand and waves it in the air!! Kitty is on the lookout for people to teach her things - she's someone who loves to learn but whose world is crap so her education to this point has been completely useless. If she's able to get wind that he's a teacher, then she'll probably seek him out!
