▼ IC INFORMATION Character name: Fenris Canon: Dragon Age Job/Role: Operative on the Atalanta
General Reputation: PROBABLY STILL TOO FRESH (to death) FOR THIS. It is coming on three months now, though, so a few people have probably seen him glare irritably at them / stumble into a wall / drink too much. In general he's standoffish, taciturn, and quick to leave a conversation he doesn't like. HOWEVER, if he's caught in a generally good mood (because he's a little drunk or because he made it through the day without tripping, an increasingly common occurrence), people would find him--well, still taciturn, but possessed of a decent sense of humor and an observant eye, at least.
Looking For:
CREW--While he may not be looking to make best friends out of everyone (he doesn't need that to work effectively in a team), he certainly wants to be more aware of his crewmates and who they are.
SIM--Fenris has been using the training sims to A, figure out what a gun is and B, presently, to learn how to shoot one effectively. However, he's also using the sim to stay brushed up on his swordsmanship. So combat with a side of combat, basically. LET'S FITE
GENERAL--He's not always the easiest guy to get along with, but he makes a damned loyal friend if you're willing to put in the effort. If he's not training/on a mission, he's at the bar. He likes playing cards and, more recently, reading. Because he taught himself how to do that via sim and he's pretty (quietly) excited about it.
I don't have any specific wants for CR, THOUGH I always like relationships that challenge a character's long-held beliefs and prejudices. There will be a glacial shift towards this even without outside assistance; being unplugged and going through the whole 'my life was a liiie' thing has forced Fenris to start developing an identity separate from his past. It's something he was trying to do even back in Thedas, but not with any particular rush--now he has no choice. Meeting more and different people will help speed that along, help him move on. Maybe help him be less of an antisocial jerk? Eventually.
Notes: When his hair fully grows back, he's going to leave it a bit long and wear it in a ponytail. Because he's glad it's black.
