Captain didn't even mind if their hand was shrugged off at this point. "I have been conserving my energies, waiting for an inter-cultural mixer! But! I see I will have to take my energies to them!"

Captain clamped the medallion between their teeth for emphasis, then shoved it back into their pocket.
